Privacy Policy

Last updated · 8 July 2026 Operated by · ImpulsIA Based in · London, United Kingdom Contact · impulsia.app@gmail.com

ImpulsIA ("the App"), operated from London, United Kingdom (contact impulsia.app@gmail.com), provides AI-assisted store management for Shopify merchants: an AI assistant, SEO fixes, supplier imports, abandoned cart drafts, social content generation, a Google Shopping feed, and profit analytics.

01 Data we access

When you install the App, Shopify grants it access, under the scopes you approve, to: your product catalog (titles, descriptions, images, prices, inventory and unit costs), orders (totals, line items, first-visit UTM attribution), and checkout events (items, customer email and first name, marketing consent, recovery URL). We access only what each feature needs.

02 Data we store

We store: your Shopify session tokens (to operate the App), your module settings, and snapshots of abandoned checkouts (items, email, first name, marketing consent, recovery link) together with the AI-drafted recovery text. We do not store your full order history or your customers' payment details.

03 AI processing

To generate assistant answers, SEO copy, product rewrites, cart drafts, social content and profit insights, relevant store data (catalog excerpts, order aggregates, checkout snapshots) is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for processing. See Anthropic's privacy documentation for their handling terms. We do not sell your data or your customers' data.

04 Slack (optional)

If you configure a Slack incoming webhook, profit summaries are posted to the Slack channel you chose. The webhook URL is stored as part of your settings and used for no other purpose.

05 Retention and deletion

Uninstalling the App deletes your sessions. We honor Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks: customers/data_request, customers/redact and shop/redact (full purge of shop data within the required window). You can also request deletion at any time at the contact email above.

06 Your customers' rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)

Where we process personal data of your customers (e.g. an email on an abandoned checkout), we act as a processor on your behalf. The App never emails your customers directly; cart drafts are provided to you to send under your own lawful basis, and the App surfaces each shopper's marketing consent to help you decide.

07 Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS. API keys and tokens are kept server-side and never exposed to browsers or storefront themes.

08 Changes and contact

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected at this URL with a new date. Questions or requests: impulsia.app@gmail.com.
